Building the capacity and potential reach of a volunteering and community-based social housing renovation programme, which provides disadvantaged individuals with skills, supports them towards employment, and benefits local communities

Chance for Change - Rites of Passage
£120,000 over 3 years
This new project is targeted at disadvantaged 16-25 year olds who have already engaged in personal development programmes. It is focused on enabling these young people to further develop their skills to enable their transition to independent adulthood. Through a link up with the YHA, the project makes use of self development through outdoor adventure, and also uses community engagement projects.

Coram Childrens Legal Centre Ltd - The Migrant Children's Project
£120,000 over 4 year
The Migrant Children's Project promotes the rights of migrant, asylum-seeking and refugee children and young people and works to ensure that they receive the protection and support they need. 

Iceni - Breaking the Cycle
£100,000 over 2 years
A project working with young parents with addiction problems to reduce the number of children removed into local authority care

Youth Access - GP Health Champions for Young People
£75,000 over 3 years
Working in 10 sites to improve the way that GPs work with local voluntary sector organisations to deliver health services to young people.

To help SCYJ make transition to seperate charity, to allow it to employ a dedicated worker, and to begin to generate income from its membership.

Venture Scotland - The Journey

To continue and develop "The Journey", a 12 month programme of personal development and volunteering for vulnerable young people.

Support for pre-production and production of feature length film about the lives of young unaccompanied asylum seekers, co funded with Oak Foundation.

West of Scotland Regional Equality Council - Roma Youth Project (renewal)
£63,000 over 12 months
(Scotland: Glasgow) To enable the applicant to build on the relationships it has formed with the very hard-to-reach Roma community in Glasgow's Govanhill and support young Roma to access leisure and educational opportunities.

Public Achievement - Beyond the Margins - Policing with Communities
£148,000 over 2 years
Pilot working across communities in North Belfast, bringing together young people with police services.

Citizenship Foundation - InterAct Programme (continuation)
£150,000 over 3 years
To develop the applicant's successful InterAct programme, which brings together groups of RAS and 'local' young people on joint social action projects. The next phase wil focus on 'mainstreaming' the project in two national partners, Prince's Trust (Fairbridge Programme) and Refugee Action.

Freedom from Torture - Supporting children, young people and families affected by torture
£150,000 over 3 years
(North East) Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) Development Worker to provide training and supervision to other organisations working with torture survivors in the North East and to provide counselling and case work directly to a small number of complex cases.

Having articulated its model of "street therapy" for young people involved in highly antisocial and gang behaviour, MAC-UK now seeks to test it in new settings, with new groups of deprived young people.

Body & Soul - The Garden - Income Generation

Building on three years ground work, Body & Soul is seeking to generate unrestricted income through delivering youth-led training and building hire.

Institute of Criminal Policy Research - Is there room for ex-offenders in the 'Big Society'?

Research to explore the scope for, and implications of, volunteering by young ex-prisones, with a view to creating practical, evidence-based guidance and policy recommendations.

Reclaim - Further funding
£150,000 over 2 years
Funding for two years to consolidate position Reclaim has reached and develop its youth enterprise activities to provide progression routes for programme 'graduates'.

The funding is for up to three specialist, Paul Hamlyn-funded Clore Social Fellowships, one per year in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Move on - Care Leavers Peer Mentoring Service
