Calderglen High School, East Kilbride

The programme is designed to focus on the skills, abilities and talents of the pupils by offering opportunities to participate in activities that pupils have an interest in but may not have previously been able to study in depth. The study will build on the principles of a Curriculum for Excellence and also correspond to the organisation of the Calderglen Games and link to existing work within the classroom.

The pattern of residential activity is timed to correspond with work for our whole school learning focus on the International Children's Games, Olympics and Commonwealth Games. Each group will participate in a residential experience within the four areas of: Leadership; Music, drama & dance; health and well-being and enterprise.
